Facebook has recently added a new feature which enables a sender of to know that the message has been read by the recipient.Gone are the days when you can simply ignore the Facebook message even after reading it because of the Facebook's new feature that lets the sender to know that message has been read by the recipient - A "Seen" receipt is generated once the message is read .
This feature is hated all around the web - I guess none of us liked it. So why not get rid off it as there are numerous occasions where you won't want someone to know if you’ve read their message or not. I like the feature. The fact that many people don't like it just shows how gutless most modern people are. If you don't like someone, have the courage to tell them that. It's obvious after a short amount of time that you are ignoring their message anyways so it's not like it matters if it shows up as "seen" or not.
