Maria Montessori was an Italian physician and educator, She is best known for her educational method which are being used today all around the world in both public and private schools.Google's Doodle has come up with a tribute to Maria Montessori's on her 142nd birth anniversary .The Google's doodle represents various tools that form an integral part of Montessori education methods.
Maria Montessori was born on August 31, 1870 in Italy.During 1896-1901she worked with and researched with children those who were experiencing some form of mental or physical disability.In 1907 she opened her first preschool for children and its success led to the opening of other Montessori schools. She travelled to different countries, including India, to disseminate her educational system.
Montessori also published numerous books, articles, and pamphlets during her lifetime - mostly in Italian and sometimes in English.
Google Doodle don't forget these awesome personalities and its their own way to pay tribute to the legends i must say.Google surprised us with a doodle with a zipper on the birthday of Gideon Sundback .
